This was one of my favorite blessings we did last year. The Dollar Store sells a dozen candy canes for one dollar. One dollar. With five dollars in our pocket, we set out to find the closest Dollar Store. With our loot in our bag, we headed over to the nearest department store parking lot. There usually are hundreds of cars in the parking lot so I knew we would hit the jackpot. Quickly weaving in and out of cars Ellie and I deposited one candy cane per car and a note saying “You have been loved by The Blessing Nisser.” What fun we had. We could only imagine the genuine surprise on the people’s faces as they got into their cars and noticed our blessing to them. It cost us only $5 and the feeling we had inside from blessing others lasted all day.
